Pleasant hotel, clean, savoury breakfast, unbeatable location in a very lovely area. Stunning room, comfortable bed and luxurious bathroom. Lovely view over the valley. The really helpful and amicable stuff and their attitude. Location near numerous hikes including SW coastal trail, the coast, and scene of the devastating floods in August 2004. Nearby The Long Bar & Restaurant - great place to chill out.

beautiful place with fine views
The Superior King Room offered amazing views. I particularly enjoyed the diversity of daily breakfast options, always beautifully prepared and delightfully tasty. The hosts, Dawn and Gavin, provided really good hospitality.
The walk back from the harbor is steep, which could be a challenge after exploring.

While the location delivers fantastic views, getting to the local pubs can be a trek back, particularly after a long day of exploring. The room's decoration is nice, but the comfort level could use some improvement as the furniture feels outdated compared to the overall ambiance.

Really good stay with amazing views
I recently spent four nights at a fantastic BnB where the cleanliness and decor of the Superior King Room were excellent. Each morning, I was treated to a delectable breakfast with a wide variety of options that were always freshly prepared and beautifully presented. Dawn and Gavin were really good hosts who genuinely enhanced my experience. The only downside was that the walk back from the village was quite steep, which could challenge some after a long day of exploring.

What a gem! Dawn and Gavin. The Nine Maidens room was spacious and cozy. We loved chilling on the comfy armchairs with the fresh milk and chocolates. Breakfast was a feast, I still dream about the Eggs Benedict! Just a heads up, the hill back from the harbor is a workout.

We had a fantastic time, enjoying fine views from our Superior King Room and indulging in the best breakfast spread ever! The garden area was perfect for lounging and soaking up the sun. Just a small note, the Wi-Fi could be a bit tricky at times, but it didn't dampen our stay at all! 😊
